Friends With Phantom is the musical project of UK based singer-songwriter Adam James Pearson. Adam realised his musical fate at the grand old age of seven, when his dad dug out an old copy of The Beatles Abbey Road on vinyl and showed him how to use the record player. From then, most evenings were spent headphones on, wired up to the hi-fi. He learned to play fingerstyle guitar at thirteen from listening to James Taylor, and music by the likes of Jackson Browne, Crowded House, Sheryl Crow, Stevie Wonder and Weezer to name a few, all went into the melting pot which would serve to shape him into a songwriter himself.  ‘I don’t actually listen to music very often these days. I feel like I did most of my music absorbing as a kid. Nowadays I just keep an ear out in the hope a random new artist might catch me’.

On his debut album Forevermore, working with producer George Williams and drummer Mike Beck, those influences are apparent. ‘I’m really very proud of it. Some of these tunes have been knocking around in my head for a while, so it’s great to hear them brought to life’.
